Linda has over 8 yrs experience in private practice; primarily musculoskeletal but she also has experience with neurological, cardiothoracic, occupational and women’s health.
Principal physiotherapist at Backfocus Collins Street. Over 10 years experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with special interests in acute & chronic lower back pain, headaches, ergonomics and sports injuries. Physiotherapist for Sweden’s national AFL team, the Swedish Elks, since 2008.
She has excellent manual therapy skills with experience in all areas of musculoskeletal physiotherapy but with a passion for treatment and rehabilitation of chronic back pain.
Living and working in Diamond Creek for over a decade she enjoys discussing local issues with her patients and catching up with them when out and about.
Many years of private practice experience dealing with conditions varying from acute in onset to management of chronic conditions. With a clinical mindset Jason has the skill set to work through an immediate treatment plan along with the necessary education and advice to ensure a successful long-term outcome. All this with Jason’s focus on a hands on approach to treatment.
From a strong sporting background, having spent many years running at a high level, he now prefers to spent his time competing in mountain bike disciplines, have competed at national and international levels with success. With over 20 years of high level competition this enables Jason to aid others achieve their goals whether they be in competition or personal accomplishment.
She is a manual therapist who also provides aquatic physiotherapy and clinical pilates. With a background in dance and having trained in many forms she has an interest in acute and chronic neck pain, dance-related injuries along with the role of dance in exercise and rehabilitation.
Hailing from the UK he uses massage therapy, spinal mobilisation/manipulation techniques, acupuncture, Kinesology taping techniques and exercise prescription to treat his areas of interest that include neck, shoulder and lower back pain, sports injuries, spinal rehabilitation and post op care.
A keen sportsman himself he has had the opportunity to work at Norwich City Football Club and Wymomdham Rugby Club as a sport physiotherapist, providing pitch side therapy and post performance care. Apart from playing soccer and rugby in his spare time he enjoys a good comedy night.
Utilising the Mckenzie approach to back care his interests include working and participating with netball, football, MMA and body building athletes. This experience compliments his clinical skills that encompass nutrition advice, exercise prescription and management during pre and post season. He also has a keen interest in sports medicine acupuncture and dry needling to assist in the management and recuperation of sport and lifestyle injuries.
Leki has developed a keen interest in sports physiotherapy particularly in the biomechanics of the lower limb, exercise prescription, sports rehabilitation and strength and conditioning principles. Growing up very active in the sporting world Leki is still quite involved with the sporting community, having held positions within Rugby Union, Rugby League, AFL, Touch Football, Athletics Australia and has also kept a close association with Footscray Rugby Union Football Club (RUFC) as club physiotherapist for 7 years.
In 2010 Leki was the head physiotherapist for the Tongan National team during the Commonwealth Games as well as working with the Tonga A National Rugby Union team and looks to continue close ties within the Rugby fraternity in Victoria and Australia. Away from physiotherapy Leki enjoys time with his wife Belinda and his cheeky daughter and also relaxing with family and friends.
After initially completing undergraduate degree in biomedicine, Debby went on to complete Doctor of Physiotherapy degree from University of Melbourne.
She uses trigger point therapy, dry needling, spinal mobilisation/manipulation and taping techniques for rehabilitation after musculoskeletal and sporting injuries.
Her main interests include neck, shoulder, back and knee injuries. She is trained under APPI (Equipment level 1-4) to incorporate clinical pilates for rehabilitation and fitness.
She has had clinical experience with Swimming Australia, Triathlon Australia, Swimming Victoria, Cycling Australia, Athletics Victoria and Australian Football Federation Victoria.
Outside the clinic, she volunteers as the club physiotherapist at Hawthorn Badminton Club (part of Badminton Victoria) and is committed in improving athletes’ health and performance.
Completing her undergraduate degree in science at The University of Melbourne, Tanja went on to complete a year of honours investigating the correlation between falls in older Australian adults and their vitamin D levels. Following this, she completed her post graduate Physiotherapy degree at the University of Sydney.
Tanja treatment methodology is through the combination of manual therapy and personalised exercise programs. She creates a patient balanced program, that can easily be adhered to, and follow through their rehabilitation.
Beyond the clinic, Tanja is passionate about sports, fitness and mindfulness training.
Chris completed his Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Physiotherapy Practice at Latrobe Bundoora in 2013. With a background in tennis coaching and exercise science, Chris is interested in relating movement performance and injury management, whatever the activity. He uses a combination of hands on and exercise based treatment to help bring about immediate effects and long term results. His main focus is to give you the skills to prevent re-injury and maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.
Annette believes each patient requires an individualised holistic treatment approach to ensure long term success in recovery.
She has worked internationally over the last 6 years and has recently settled back in Melbourne.
Equipped with a Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from University of Queensland, her keen interest lies in all musculoskeletal injuries with a particular speciality in spinal conditions.
Focused on delivering high quality care that stems from the latest evidence and extensive clinical experience, she uses manual techniques and exercises for rehabilitation.

After working from the Collins Street office for several years now, Jen has acquired an intimate knowledge of day to day administration.
